Brother Bruno Chester was sold recently, and all the good reasons that I went there are gone. I loved the pizza and the meals were good too. Yesterday I tried to slices of their pizza and the crust was so soggy but it didn’t hold up the cheese or the sausage. I’ve change the sauce is in the seasonings so nothing taste familiar and I really don’t like the food now. I’ve never written a review like this before. It’s a shame they didn’t keep some of the recipes that were such a success. Grandma’s pizza is totally different now… The sauces and the seasonings are not appealing to me. The crust around the edges was hard as a rock and hard to bite but the underneath part was soggy and again the slice collapsed due to sogginess causing the sauce and cheese to fall on my clothes. I want to say thank you to Phil and those who have been proffesiinal and kind through the years. I’ve been going there since my children were young and they are in their early 40’s now. Other Brunos was our go to place when they came to town from Massachusetts and Connecticut. Sorry to say we won’t be going there anymore. I do like Brother Bruno’s in Middletown on Dolson Avenue which still has the familiar foods that we’ve loved for years. I hope the new owners will listen to the comments people are making and make some good positive changes.

The pizza is good but not sanitary. The owner and workers do not use gloves and they handle the money and cash register then prepare the food with no gloves. That’s disgusting and the health department needs to be contacted about this.
